What data we hold

EuProcure republishes public procurement notices sourced from the EU's TED portal (open data, reuse permitted). We deliberately minimise personal data at the point of ingest:

• Contact-person details (names, personal emails, phone numbers) are never extracted into our database and never appear anywhere on this site. Our parser skips those fields entirely; we store only an organisation's own general contact details.
• We do keep the original notice file exactly as TED published it, in a private archive that is not publicly accessible, so notices can be re-processed when our parsing improves. Where TED's own file includes contact details, that copy still contains them. It is never served to visitors, and it is covered by the removal procedure below.
• Buyer information (organisation name, city, type) is organisational, not personal — it doesn't identify an individual.
• Award winners are almost always companies. Where a winner's name looks like an individual's rather than an organisation's, we replace it with “Natural person (redacted)” automatically, before the tender is published. This runs on every import, so it also applies to notices we processed earlier. It is a judgement made from the name alone, and the source data gives us nothing more reliable to go on — so it will not catch every case. If your name appears as a winner, tell us below and we will redact it.

If you believe your personal data appears on this site — most likely as a named award winner — or a data point about you or your organisation is wrong, tell us below. We reply to the address you give us within 72 hours.
