Het doel van de red teaming test is om de weerbaarheid van Enexis tegen digitale aanvallen te evalueren. Dergelijke aanvallen kunnen ook gepaard gaan met ongeoorloofde fysieke toegang tot Enexis locaties en systemen. In principe heeft de red teaming partij de vrije hand bij het uitvoeren van hun testactiviteiten; de enige voorwaarde is dat er geen operationele impact mag ontstaan.
